Now in it's fifth year, Lithgow Halloween has become a favourite Lithgow event for the community and visitors alike.  With lots of activities and experiences for the family and people of all ages, the stage is set for yet another awesome Lithgow Halloween!

Halloween themed Scavenger Hunt launched in support of businesses across the region

Whats happening?

Program for Lithgow Halloween 2017

Markets - 2.00pm-9.00pm

Market stalls will be back again this year with lots of interesting and possibly spooky things to purchase from 2.00pm

Amusement rides 3.00pm-9.00pm

There will be additional rides at this year’s Lithgow Halloween for young children plus a thrill ride for anyone brave enough to ride the Round Up.

Youth Stage 2:30pm-5:30pm

Be entertained by some of the regions young talent as they showcase their muso and dance skills to get the Halloween party started with moveFM

10 Tunnels Ride from Lithgow 4:30pm-6:10pm

Travel on the special Ghost Train through the spooky 10 Tunnels.  For more information and bookings contact Lachlan Valley Railway on 6342 4999.

Trick or Treat - 5.00pm

Halloween tradition has always involved Trick or Treat and Lithgow Halloween provides a safe place for kids to enjoy the fun and treats generously provided by local business and groups to add to the fun of Halloween. 

 Dedicated DJ Stage - 6.00pm-10.00pm

With the strong response form past years Lithgow Halloween 2017 will have a dedicated DJ stage with dance music from 6.00pm-10.00pm.

Street Parade - 6.10pm

The Samba drumming band Samba Trombada will lead the street parade from Pioneer Park along Main Street and they invite you to join in with them to start off the night time activities.

Welcome and best costume competition - 6.30pm

Each year so many people put a huge effort into creating the most amazing costumes for Lithgow Halloween and at the 2017 there will be a great chance to show off their efforts in the best costume competition.

 Skull Auction - 7.15 pm

Each year the Lithgow Tidy Towns Skull Auction is bigger with an amazing collection of creative designed skulls for auction on the night. Be sure to check out the collections earlier so you don’t miss out.  The skulls will be on exhibition at the Library from 13th October.

 MC and Street Performance - From 6.30pm

The MC and master of fun for 2017 will be one of Australia top MC’s Timothy Hyde, and he will ensure that that there will be no sad faces at Lithgow Halloween. Street performances and all things wacky will be in the hands of Zany-Yare with lots of weird and strange things going on along Main Street.

Live band -  First set 7.45pm-8.30pm, Second set 9.00pm-10.00pm

This year’s event will feature the band Australian Played with two live sets full of Australian rock music through the decades including AC/DC, INXS, The Angels and many more.

 Street Food - Café and Restaurant operation times

Many of the cafes and restaurants along Main Street will have special menus plus street food for sale this year.

Illusionist Show

Stu Robinson, Australia’s Foremost Gospel illusionist will be performing at St Paul’s Anglican  Church.
When: Saturday 28 October 2017 Show starts at 7:30pm
