Councillors lose their heads in support of Lithgow Halloween

Lithgow City Councillors have volunteered to be part of a Halloween window display, showing their support for Lithgow Halloween and to acknowledge the efforts that local businesses go to in making the event a success.

“Lithgow Halloween is about driving awareness of the region and contributing to economic development, but importantly it’s about community spirit,” said Lithgow City Council Mayor Cr Stephen Lesslie.  “Myself and fellow Councillors have been very impressed by the huge efforts businesses have made to contribute to this event. Creating our own window display was a way for us to recognize this. I encourage everyone to discover the many creative window displays across the region.”

Lithgow City Council’s window display is at 89 Main Street, Lithgow.

With Lithgow Halloween only hours away, you can plan your day by downloading the event guide from http://www.halloween.lithgow.com/happening/ or pick up a copy from our friendly event staff on the day.

Lithgow City Council would like to thank retail outlets Intimate Dreams and Emu Springs Antiques, for supporting Councils window display. Lithgow City Council is grateful for the generous support of our sponsors, including Gold Partners Centennial Coal and Energy Australia, Silver Partner McDonalds, and Media Partner Move FM.
